FBC Seabrook Missions Report

Six years ago seven people traveled to West Africa on a vision trip. If was clear to these seven that we were called to work in MBour. We returned from the first trip the day before Thanksgiving. Pastor Rob and Mike King have just returned from the 23rd trip in six years from our church.

God is working right here is Seabrook, too. This month we will experience big changes in the life of our church, with all new children’s programs on Sunday’s and Wednesday’s. See the new schedule on page 2 of this newsletter. Good News Club at Hyde Elementary School began mid-September and continues to meet every Wednesday with over 40 kids registered.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner. It is a day of many traditions such as feasting on turkey, watching parades and football games, or planning the biggest shopping event “Black Friday”. We look forward to all of it, but, please don’t forget to give thanks to God. Not only for the physical earthly provisions, but, for His promise of an eternal future and a home with God. After giving thanks, think about the many lost souls here in Seabrook and around the world.

Christ is best served by people who have a passion for Him. A passion to give themselves to God for the glory of His name, the fulfillment of His will and the building of His kingdom. Pray He ignites a fire in you and others and we work together to build God’s kingdom.

See you on the mission field!
