FBC Seabrook Mission Report

The South Texas Mission Trip was alot of fun and a great success.  In Falfurrias we held four simultaneous Back Yard Bible Clubs during the day in governmental housing areas.  The combined registration added up to more than 80 kids!  Each evening our group split up for two more simultaneous Back Yard Bible Clubs, one in Encino and one in Ricardo, Texas.  There were over 50 kids in attendance for the evening clubs.  We appreciate First Baptist Church of Falfurrias for allowing us to use their church and parsonage for housing and for feeding our team!  We appreciate the Falfurrias Housing Authority and Josie Escalante and Gloria Nino for granting us permission to come into their housing complexes and for their support in advertising.  I appreciate each person who took the week to do all the things that needed to be done to accomplish this monster mission project!  Our kitchen staff is more than appreciated, especially each evening as our teams returned to something sweet and chocolatey good!

Next month I hope to share more great reports from our El Jardin and San Leon clubs, as well as the Youth MIssion Trip to North Carolina.

In His Amazing Grace,

Joanne Wells, State Mission Director
